Baobab Learning Center (BLC): More Than a Training Center, a Driver of Local Development
At BLC, our vision goes beyond training. We are also committed to implementing transformative projects that contribute to the sustainable development of communities.
In this spirit, BLC is developing an agro-pastoral project on an 8-hectare site located in Tominian, dedicated to agriculture, livestock farming, market gardening, and raising community awareness about practices that promote local development.
This site aims to become:
- An agro-pastoral production center;
- A training and learning environment for local communities;
- A site for experimentation and innovation around local economic activities;
- A hub that supports the development of the area’s ecosystem.
The first achievements are already underway, including the installation of fencing, water towers, and essential infrastructure such as a caretaker’s lodge, guest accommodations for visitors, and a storage facility.
Each step represents progress toward a shared goal: creating opportunities, strengthening local capacities, and supporting communities on the path to sustainable and inclusive development.
Today, BLC is laying the foundations for a future where training, innovation, and community development move forward together.
