BLC Open House Day 2026: An Inspiring and Unifying Success

Executive Overview

On June 6, 2026, the Baobab Learning Center (BLC) opened its doors for a dynamic and impactful Open House Day. The event brought together 37 participants, including partners, educators, community leaders, and supporters, creating a vibrant space for dialogue, discovery, and collaboration.

Blending formal presentations with interactive experiences, the Open House showcased BLC’s mission, highlighted its programs, and strengthened relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating a shared commitment to building a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative future for Mali.

Showcasing Our Work and Impact

Core programs include a Community Learning Center, an Agro-Pastoral Site, and Shea Butter Production Units supporting women’s empowerment.

2026 initiatives include BLC TV, Summer BLC Kids Boot Camp, and professional training programs.

The Mayor’s Representative praised BLC’s community impact. Mariam Traoré, educator and founder of a school complex, expressed strong support. A Ministry of Education Representative shared strategies, while Mr. Job Théra, retired professor and researcher emphasized education initiatives such as AgroFest and tutoring.
