Beou was brought to Baobab Learning Center by his parents in 2016. During his first year, he struggled to adjust and repeatedly ran away to the bush and back to his village, refusing to participate in school.
Throughout this challenging period, the BLC team remained connected to Beou and his family, keeping communication open and consistently encouraging his return. After a year, Beou chose to come back to the Center.

Since returning, Beou has become a happy, motivated student. He passed the sixth-grade national exam with high marks and transitioned successfully into middle school. Today, Beou is a model student at BLC and serves as a mentor to younger boys, supporting them and helping keep them on track.
