School Renovation Project
Young adults working with Baobab Learning Center led hands-on renovation projects at three local schools. Participants repaired and painted classrooms and fixed or installed broken doors and windows, helping create safer and more welcoming learning environments.
The project also included desk repair and construction. By building and restoring desks, young adults reduced classroom overcrowding so that two students could share a desk instead of four or five. In addition, BLC supported the construction of ten desks and chairs for teachers—many of whom had previously been working without furniture.
These projects provided practical skills training for young adults while directly improving educational conditions for students and teachers.
